My name is Amy Russell, and it is my honor to serve you this year as the “COSP” Chairperson of school presidents. I am from Stringer, MS, and I am currently attending Jones County Junior College. At JCJC I am serving as the president of “SNO” Student Nurses Organization. To me a good nurse demonstrates knowledge, caring, and understanding to all aspects of the medical field this is why I have chosen to pursue a career in the nursing field. Nurses must demonstrate these skills not only when working but in all aspects of their life. The best way I have found to fine tune some of my skills as a nurse is by joining the SNO and now by being a Member of MASN organization. I am very excited about being a part of MASN and cannot wait to see what progress we make. I plan to do whatever I can to help the organization succeed in their tasks and I am here to help or answer any questions my fellow students have in order to help us provide the best care that we possibly can and to grow as individuals. I would just like to say to everyone thank you for giving me the chance to be a part of the MASN board and hope the year will be rewarding for everyone .
