Chairperson of Fundraising

My name is Courtney Lea Truax and I am from Starkville, Mississippi. I am a student nurse at the Mississippi University for Women and will graduate in May of 2009.1 am very proud to represent my school and this state as the MASN's Chairperson of fundraising. MASN's passion for the student nurse and nursing has inspired me to become a better student nurse for the people around me. As the MASN Chairperson of fundraising, I look forward to reaching out in our state for support. In addition, I am excited to meet other compassionate and dedicated student nurses, like myself. I hope that during 2007-2008 I am able to build upon the relationships that the nursing schools and hospitals of Mississippi have. I look forward to serving the student nurses of Mississippi with my fellow MASN board, molding better opportunities for future nurses.
